April Fool's Day TRICK

It's the first of April and time for some magic. I have NO idea how this was done, but I'm guessing major manipulation of space-time and perhaps a pact with the Devil thrown in on the side. This AMAZING TRICK by Chinese Magician LIU QIAN was sent to me by none other than ... AA. Of course.

None other than "...AA"? That's not fare !! I do not know who you are referring to !!

As for the trick, once some one tells you how it is done, you'll feel so silly that you didn't realise how it was done, without being prompted !!

And how does one send things like this to you? What mail id should these be sent to? (Talk about being computer illiterate!)

As to the identity of "AA", look at the post just before this one!

This blog has an e-address associated with it ...

The trick? Well, I've been watching a show on TV called Breaking the Magician's Code -- and if there's one conclusion I've come to, it's that many tricks require a great deal of skill. I don't feel foolish when I realize how they're done! I love the element of misdirection and physical dexterity involved in really good tricks.

My guess about that trick is that there's a transparent flap attached to the wooden edge of the glass-topped table. Also, it's probably plexi-glass (i.e., plastic), not glass. In the TV show we're told that many tricks done on camera involve the participation of the other people in the picture -- in order to heighten the illusion. Did you see the movie THE PRESTIGE (great film)? One of the characters makes the point that the audience always knows that they're being tricked -- that is part of what they enjoy.

The post just before this one is from Motely.

Dunno what Motely is ... but I meant the Error Messages post ...

Precisely what I've been trying to say. The only comments posted on "Error Messages" is that of some one who calls himself/herself 'Motely'and I do not know if Motely is 'AA' masquerading and I'd like to find out!
Don't give up, blogger, make an attempt to sort this one out!

Ah! I meant the introduction to the Error Messages post, not the comment on the post. The person who sent the error messages to me has the initials "AA" ... and he is named in the intro!
