Happy Chanumas, Everyone!

VT 2006, by Manjula Padmanabhan
A clever friend wished me "Happy Chanumas" this year and I decided he'd got it right -- blending Christmas and Chanukkah to make an interestingly non-secular greeting-word appropriate to the season.

The photograph is of the sunset that filled the sky on Thanksgiving evening, in Vermont. As always the photograph barely does justice to the real thing but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Ahh -- pix like that are wholly courtesy the Sunset Corp. of the Universe!! We mortals merely stand and click.

But thnx anyway and Happy Heehee to you 2!

Hi Ms.Padmanabhan--

I saw the wonderful production of your play "Harvest" eleven months ago here in NYC, and I just recently came across this while web-surfing--it seems one of the actors from your show is doing quite well for himself in the theater world:

At any rate, I hope you have a very Happy New Year. And I hope to see another play of yours in NYC in the near future. Are there any plans yet?

Hello Abigail Wentworth! You visited once before I think? Well thank you again and all good wishes for the year ahead. No plans for NYC shows at this moment but ... I've just written a new short play (it's too raw yet for descriptions) and am feeling good about it. Maybe I'll share it some time soon, as a reading ...

Hello arvindh! Thank you for your greetings and good wishes to you too. I'm still working on the script but maybe in a couple of weeks I'll be able to say whether or not it's be ready to share (not online, of course! I'm far too hung-up for that). Fingers crossed.
